From PR to Eternity

Matthew Watson's Tech PR blog

Top 100 PR Blogs: October 2008

I’ve produced a list of the world’s top PR blogs according to the AdAge Power 150. It’s by no means perfect since it only features blogs on AdAge with PR, Public Relations or Publicity in the title, and a few that were suggested to me last month. It’s just a bit of fun but I think it’s a decent indicator of the top PR blogs nonetheless.

If your PR blog is missing please comment and let me know. If you haven’t added your blog to the AdAge Power 150 yet you can do so by clicking here.

  1. Happy to see we made your list again! Thanks!

  2. Top 10? Cool – and thanks for having me there.

Now I can continue to quote rap lyrics on Twitter with more confidence. :)

  3. Top 15? Eek!
    Great post, thanks very muchly.

  4. Thanks for including us in the UK list!

  5. Great list! I’m linking to this from my own blog because my Publicity Hounds will be eager to see what other great content is out there.

P.S. I’m pleased ot be on the list.

  6. I don’t see BL Ochman’s “What’s Next” blog at http://www.whatsnextblog.com/ on this list, probably because the words PR, publicity and public relaitons are not in the title.

It belongs in the Top 10.

  7. Matthew,

I haven’t gone through your previous editions of this list, but have you noticed an increase in the number of “PR” blogs on the AdAge 150 over the last couple of months?

  8. Thanks for the inclusion again Matthew!

  9. This is an excellent initiative Mathew.

I have a blog on the Indian PR industry: http://public-relations-india.blogspot.com/

  10. Thanks for adding me to your list, there are some great reads here. Oh, and BL Ochman might not take a shine to being called a PR blog, she adamantly refuses to be called PR anything.

  11. What are we, chopped liver? Seriously, Lubetkin’s Other Blog lives on the AdWeek list around #568, and we have a podcast. That should count for something?

  12. Matthew – appreciate your work in ranking as well as promoting the value of PR blogs! Will share this link with my readers.

  13. Hi Matthew, Thanks for putting the list together! I’m honored to have made it =)

  14. Does the blog have to have PR in the title? Where would mine be I wonder? middledigit usually features in these sorts of lists but I guess you wouldn’t know it was to some degree PR focused unless I told you ;-)

  15. Ooh, Matty boy we’re neck and neck!

I reckon producing these tables just about edges it for you though ;)

You’re top 10 position is thoroughly well deserved!

  16. I second Jonathan. Fake Plastic Noodles’ subtitle is ‘London, Avant-garde PR and the Pastafication of tofu’ but it doesn’t show up in any searches!
