From PR to Eternity

Matthew Watson's Tech PR blog

Top 100 PR Blogs: September 2008

I’ve produced a list of the world’s top PR blogs according to the AdAge Power 150. It’s by no means perfect since it only features blogs on AdAge with PR, Public Relations or Publicity in the title, and a few that were suggested to me last month. It’s just a bit of fun but I think it’s a decent indicator of the top PR blogs nonetheless.

If your PR blog is missing please comment and let me know. If you haven’t added your blog to the AdAge Power 150 yet you can do so by clicking here.

  1. Thrilled to see our name on this list! Thanks!

  2. Cheers Matthew. Knowing that you do this is incentive to keep working hard and increase my position.

  3. Matthew, What a huge amount of work. I would love to see where my blog Communication Overtones, falls on this list. I am currently at 73 on the AdAge150 and am a PR blog.

I have bookmarked this as a reference.

    Thanks,

    Kami

  4. Hi Matthew!

I actually submitted my blog to Ad Age after your previous top of PR blogs. Though my blog name is far from stating it, I write about MK and PR. PR mostly :)

Hope you keep publishing this, it’s really cool to see half of my PR rss subscriptions here :)

  5. Hi Matthew. Thanks for the mention and the link. Strive Notes is actually UK-based. AdAge has it wrong. I’ve asked them to change it, but no luck.

  6. Thanks for including my blog. Pretty good for a marketer. :-)

It is interesting, I recently tried to put a list of blogs together in the app dev industry. And spent a lot of time searching the web. Then I used my social networking connections and found a link to a blog post with the top 100. Saved me hours of time. So I really appreciate anyone who puts these types of lists together.

  7. Hi Matthew,

    Nice work! Very useful.

I’d love it if you could include my site on the list – davefleet.com – it’s on the list as “Dave Fleet.”

    Cheers,

    Dave

  8. Hi Matthew — found you via Dave Fleet. Would love you to include me in too: http://www.flacklife.com.

    Bob LeDrew.

  9. Nice list – but now you’re experiencing what I go through on a bi-monthly basis when people clamour to be included. Unless you’ve automated this in some way I predict a lot of admin coming your way…!

Anyway, good to see a list not dominated by Steve Rubel…! And I guess this is an object lesson in SEO – if you’re writing about PR, put PR in your title!

  10. Scatterbox by Steven Silvers has been running for more than three years.
